Dear Andrew,

Thank you for your detailed response, and yes, in most cases this is purely academically speaking.

The 6-day week has a few additional benefits that you do not mention here, firstly, there is the fact that all months are the same length, and the days fall on the same calendar month, meaning, the 30th is always a Sunday, and the 1st is always a Monday, same as everyday therein.

However, on this note, I am toying with the idea that it may be nice to change the days of the month by 1 every year repeating every 6-years, so that way, if your birthday is on say a Wednesday, then it will eventually be on a Saturday, rather than always on a Wednesday. What are your thoughts on this?

Secondly, the benefit to using 6 is that it is a division of 12, and as far as I am concerned, the Base-12 or Dozenal or DuoDecimal (what ever name you wish to chose), as this makes life much easier, and having everything be a part of that system just makes more sense, seeing as the calendar months and time already run on base-12, then the weeks should also?

Also, would you not prefer to work 4-days on and have 2-days off compared to 5-days on and 2-days off?
