Something displayed as $11 would be displayed as $21 in this new direcimal system, however, the underlying cost would still be the same as $11.

It is a reworked numeral system, meaning that you have to look at it with fresh eyes and understand the formula, this system or one similar should be less complex and easier to navigate to someone who is raised with it, comparative to our current slightly more complex and non-symmetrical numeral system.
