This Direcimal system is still a base-system, as a base-system is defined as "the number of different digits or combination of digits and letters that a system of counting uses to represent numbers".

However, the question is what number base-system is this? As there are ten unique numbers, although, it could be argued that the 0 could still be a number though it represents 'nothing' and only nothing, therefore, possibly making this a base-11 system?

Direcimal also works flawlessly with the metric system, no issues here.
